Miss Mustard Seed Milkpaint

We have taken on a new endeavor....Miss Mustard Seed milk paint!!! It is one of the coolest paints I have ever worked with.  It is very different from anything I experienced and it did take a little time to get use to, but once I got the hang of it.....LOVE!!!!!!!  I'm going to highlight several of the colors.

LUCKETTS GREEN.....Cool and fresh....two words that come to mind when I use Luckett's Green.

KITCHEN SCALE......one of personal favorites!!! This color has turquoise in it but has been toned down a bit with green.

GRAIN SACK......This is the neutral I paint with the most....although it looks white, it actually has a hint of gray.  I LOVE grays!!!!!

Caterpillars.....

June 7th, 2007.....Patina was born.  What started as way to work a couple days a week and make some extra cash has turned into a FULL TIME job with many ups and downs!!!  Don't misunderstand I LOVE my store, but oh boy! What a ride!!! 

I am a mother of three, Ellie 19, Mary Tanner 15, Sammy 11.  I am also a wife to Sam....he has MUCH patience.  I am a lover of local art and I consider MANY things art.  A beautiful painting or a fabulous piece of pottery.  But, I also consider that thrown out piece of trash on the curb, a caterpillar  just waiting to turn into a BEAUTIFUL butterfly!!! 

Patina has taught me many life lessons and I am always fascinated with what lesson God is trying to teach me by what may enter my door on any given day.  So, please join me on this ride and hopefully we can all learn from each other!!!  I'm just a hairy caterpillar still waiting on my wings!!!
